About
Hi, I’m Luca — a 29-year-old photographer from Amsterdam.
I’ve always felt most at home outdoors, and it’s the mountains that truly move me. That’s probably why my work naturally gravitates toward nature and adventure photography — it’s where I feel most grounded.
My journey with photography began some years ago when I picked up an analog camera to capture moments from my travels. What started as a way to remember became something much deeper. Now I shoot digital and on 35mm film. Photography taught me to be present — to really see the world around me, even when I’m not behind the lens. It also sparked a desire to seek out new experiences and places, which led to dozens of images I’m now excited to share with you.
Shooting analog slows me down — it makes me think more intentionally about composition and light. I try to keep those photos as true to the original moment as possible, so the viewer can experience it just as I did. Digital photography, on the other hand, gives me more creative freedom to play with mood, light, and structure. No matter the medium, I always aim to capture a sense of calm and stillness in my work, a quiet moment that invites you in.
The albums I’ve curated bring together scenes from different corners of the world, moments that feel both personal and universal. My goal is to capture those experiences in their purest form — just as you might encounter them yourself.
I hope my photos speak to you, and it means the world to me to know they might find a place in your home.
With love,
Luca
